Get more information on how we make driving safer. The subjects of the vFSS working group are distributed to four work packages. WP1 is responsible for the accident analysis. Based on different data sources typical accident scenarios for pedestrian accidents and rear end collisions are derived.

Development of test-procedures for autonomous and adaptive braking systems based on accident data for longitudinal crash scenarios. Development of requirements for crash-targets for longitudinal crash scenarios. Test procedures were tested and developed for Forward Collisions Warning (FCW), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) and Adaptive Brake Assist (ABA) Systems.
