Tennis Hope (501c3) avidly believes in charity. Thus, all of the profits from our annual tennis tournament go to charitable organizations, contributing to local, national, as well as global humanitarian causes. Our mission is to promote youth development and diversity within the tennis community. Our second objective is to fundraise for our philanthropic cause. Each year, we select a beneficiary to sponsor and this year it is One Body Village. Super Smash 6th Tennis Tournament. 9 Game Pro Set.

Cal Lane has some nice pieces on her website. She is an artist that uses steel as a medium for lace work. Really beautiful. Turning Steel into Lace. Posted by snowtweety @ 1/11/2008 07:41:00 AM. At 1/12/2008 2:28 AM. Nice stuff; don't know why, but it reminds me of Jennifer Beals welding the hot steel :). Less than one month to new lunar year! How'bout some short recap of the plus and cons of your stay so far? If that's not too indiscrete. says the not so sly reader soon to be saigonized. Maybe once I ge...

Snowtweety: life in progress...: Go RISD !!!
http://snowtweety.blogspot.com/2008/11/go-risd.html
I was just browsing through my favorite T-shirt shopping website, Threadless. And noticed that they have a select section. After the click, who do I see but my old professor, John Maeda, and a bunch of designs from RISD students. What a fun and creative way to get money for scholarships! Makes me want to apply to grad school at RISD. Who knows, maybe in a few more years. Check out the designs. Posted by snowtweety @ 11/18/2008 08:27:00 AM. At 3/05/2009 11:35 AM. Those teen years again?

As mentioned in the previous post, there is a following for metal music here in Vietnam. One of my former students asked me if I would be attending the Unite 08. Concert featuring the band My Chemical Romance. MCR is coming here? The beer companies have been sponsoring a lot of music events lately. Just last month, Heineken brought world dj Ferry Corsten. I heart Susie and Chi. They threw me an absolutely fabulous farewell party. We spent the night chilling outside, listening to jazz, and sipping wine by candlelight. Men, pay attention! You could learn a few things from these two lovely ladies. Click on pics for larger version. More Pics. Chi at work. Chica is totally glowing! Babe, I think you've found your calling. The setting. Awwwhhhhh, so nice. All my Wellesley ladies: Wileen, Janet, Det, Chi, Susie, and Van. The boys: Binh, Ben, and Val. As one of t...

Teaching can be an amazingly difficult task, trying to motivate students to learn and think on their own when they don't want to. Class went extremely well today. We had a class discussion on different music genres and the students really enjoyed it. Makes me happy :). Teachers deserve more respect than what they are given in this country. Its quite sad, really, how society values education but not the people that are helping to provide it. Posted by snowtweety @ 7/31/2005 05:04:00 AM. Before heading off...

Read an interesting article about Boston going wi-fi. In the Boston Globe magazine this weekend. There was this observation about people's innate desire to connect with others, the fear of being alone. For example, why do people congregate in cafes to work on their laptops when, in theory, they would get more work done if they worked at home, alone, without distractions? Check out NewburyOpen.net. For Wi-fi locations in Boston. SalemOpen.net. If you are ever in Salem :). Chi questioned.I had no idea,...
