Monday, January 27, 2014. On the bad days - which usually arrive not singularly, but rather strung together in intolerable chains - I feel conquered by the logistics of motherhood. In the morning, I must get the children fed, clothed, brushed, out of the house. In the evening, I must get them fed more/again, brushed more/again, into pajamas, into the bedroom, quiet, asleep. It never crossed my mind to post this dish up, being fairly simple and uncomplicated. Perhaps I took for granted because of it's simplicity, but sometimes keeping it simple is a great thing and perhaps it's something I should do more often. Came accross some large red chilli at the fruit and veg market. I also picked up some tofu and asked my MIL if she could make stuff chilli and tofu. And as usual without any hesitation she would go digging through the freezer, gathering all the other ingredients she needed. Wonderful she is! 1 dozen large red chilli. Veg oil for frying.
