https://leftoversforlunchblog.wordpress.com/2015/06/28/leftovers-27th-june
June 28, 2015. Ok, so it’s time to get back into the swing of things with the Leftovers posts! I would like to take this opportunity however, to get off track for just a moment and share with you this photo that my sister took the day after Father’s Day – we bought my dad (who has only over the past year discovered that not only is he a brilliant cook, but also really enjoys it too! Luckily, the cucumber we have points me straight to an old favourite, tomato and halloumi salad. So I’d love to get m...

About Abbie… – Leftovers For Lunch
https://leftoversforlunchblog.wordpress.com/about
My name is Abbie, and some of you may know me from my previous lifestyle blog, The Vintage Housewife, and I thank you for coming and taking a look at my new one! For all you new-comers, I’m really excited to get to know you all, and I hope you enjoy what I’ve got in store 🙂. As a young married couple, starting out and trying to save as much money for a deposit for our first home, budgeting is certainly a very important factor in our lifestyle. But on the flip side, so is our passion for good food! And a...

Newer posts →. February 21, 2014. Twelve. Thank goodness it’s not fourteen, but I’d rather have it be seven. Twelve. The number of days (or as my siblings say, sleeps ) until Spring Break. And I cannot wait to drive down I-35 into the Promised Land Iowa. I’m always up for a break in the school y ear. It’s a chance for me to go home and see my family, not think about homework, and do laundry for free. Lots of laundry. I am tired. I am irritable. My body needs to rest, emotionally and physically. In life, ...

African Dance for the Win. Ideas Grow Here →. Your Story is Important. February 28, 2014. Before starting this blog I wrote a blog post. For my church blog trying to encourage people to tell their own stories. Coincidentally, certainly, but I think also with a touch of irony, I was then approached by Aubree and Karina to help launch Exchanging Postscripts, where our theme would be sharing other people’s stories. And sometimes we’ve even shared our own. Source: Flickr, Anna Gutermuth. If Amy wasn’t ...

Your Story is Important. March 1, 2014. I love writing. It’s an outlet for me to release feelings, to make my voice known when I can’t articulate my thoughts out loud and to share stories. Lookin g back on the parts of my life that were joyful or painful is a benefit for my overall growth and maturity, too. I’d like to think I have a small ounce of talent in it as well. My lovely inspiration journal. I’d encourage you, dear reader, to keep a writing journal. Why? Posted in Author's Stories. March 3, 2014...

Live Love Travel Lots. Living Loving and Travelling. So the idea is. To share my pictures and experiences, partly so that people actually get to see my pictures and partly so that I have something to do other than vegetate in front of the TV in the evenings. But if I’m honest mostly vanity, as I happen to think that I’ve taken some pretty good pictures over the years and it would be nice to hear some positive comments about some of them. So here goes……. Live Love Travel Lots. Living Loving and Travelling. Every year at Shoreham Airport……. They hold an Airshow. We have lived locally since I was a child so I have always been able to watch the planes from our garden. The best shots though are taken from the path along the River Adur. This Lancaster Bomber flew so low down the river valley that you could see the pilot in the cockpit. August 7, 2014. Laquo; Previous Post.
