About (ten years too late perhaps) | Virtual Void?
https://virtualvoid.wordpress.com/about
About (ten years too late perhaps). About (ten years too late perhaps). Now I’m here. Finally. About ten years I’m using the internet. Most time it was a one-way use: Being addicted to information I consumed as much as I could get (i.e. constrained by bandwidth and money only). Now it’s time to change that bad habit…. So be welcome to my thoughts! Responses to “About (ten years too late perhaps)”. Feed for this Entry. April 14, 2008 at 20:35. I would certainly like to read what you have to say.
March | 2009 | Virtual Void?
https://virtualvoid.wordpress.com/2009/03
About (ten years too late perhaps). Archive for March, 2009. And Under the hood. In my recently finished thesis, I stressed the importance of the JVM verifier and briefly talked about the security issues rogue bytecode might introduce if not detected by the verifier. I did so, just by assumption, only theoretically knowing that an attack might work (and probably how), but without having tried it in practice. So now, I turned off the verifier and looked what happened…. I generated a simple class with ASM.

Virtual Void?
About (ten years too late perhaps). Tighter rows in TreeView with SWT GTK. The GTK version of SWT wastes much space in tables and trees. Even with the GTK theming, rows in trees have still too much space between them:. I spent some time with GDB to find out where the additional padding above and below the text of each item comes from. In the end I found out, that text cell renderers in GTK (gtk/gtkcellrenderertext.c) have a default y-padding of 2 pixels set:. GTK CELL RENDERER (celltext)- ypad = 2. In my...
Virtual Voight's
Monday, February 25, 2008. Another month went by without a posting. I apologize, life has been crazy. It and I will get better though! Since the last post Tanner had his 4th birthday and today is Jenna's 1st! We celebrated with family yesterday and today by going out for ice cream with friends. Heather and I really see the family dynamic changing with Kylie and Tanner each maturing in different ways at the same time and Jenna now starting to think about walking. It's obviously fun.
