Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Our Polar 3 Cedars Pumpkin Orchard Tour! Kindergartners first enjoyed a winding tractor ride, braved the cold and drizzles, and searched for three "trees" and hole punch rewards during a scavenger hunt in a very large corn maze. Monday, December 8, 2014. Continuing in "Grand" (Friend) Style! City of Kentwood near Grand Rapids, MI. Kindergartners had the privilege of continuing our school's "Grand Friend's Day" celebration with a special visit by Isaya's Grandfather Bill Hardiman who also happens to be a State Senator and former Major of Kentwood, MI. By Gerald McDermott, serves as a launchpad for our studies of Ancient Egypt - very exciting stuff to Kindergartners! Kindergartners process learning best when their bodies and their imaginations are engaged. Our archeologist activity helped the kids practice focus and fine motor skills as well as stimulating their ideas.
