Monk for a Week: Why not?
http://ezra-china.blogspot.com/2008/01/why-not.html
Monk for a Week. Thursday, January 10, 2008. I highly doubt anyone is checking this blog anymore as I am no longer in China and therefore no longer living a life that merits writing or reading about. Anyway, I've got a few months to kill and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to where I should go that might make my day to day existence worth hearing about again. Any ideas? Posted by Sky Crew. January 23, 2008 at 6:20 PM. We miss you though. Love, Mom and Gus. February 10, 2008 at 7:08 AM.

Monk for a Week: Last Day in Shaolin, Back to Beijing
http://ezra-china.blogspot.com/2007/11/last-day-in-shaolin-back-to-beijing.html
Monk for a Week. Sunday, November 18, 2007. Last Day in Shaolin, Back to Beijing. This is the oldest pagoda in the Shaolin cemetary (for lack of a better word). It was built in the 700's and hundreds of thousands of people attended the funeral of the first (I think? Tomorrow we go to the Great Wall. When we asked how to get there the employees at Peking said just follow the yellow-spit road. Seriously there's more phlem on the sidewalk here than at a '50s baseball game. We should get some coo...And Ez so...

Monk for a Week: Shaolin Day 5/6
http://ezra-china.blogspot.com/2007/11/shaolin-day-56.html
Monk for a Week. Thursday, November 15, 2007. Remember when your parents used to tell you to finish your food cause there were starving kids in China? Here's me getting ready to take out a coat rack and a cool bird that's really common here. Anyone know what it's called? Posted by Sky Crew. Dear Ez.I'm pretty sure that's a duck. I hope there's something left of you when those guys get through with you! Actually , you look pretty good in the picture, but no hamburger or pizza! What do they find to eat?

Monk for a Week: Shaolin - Day 4
http://ezra-china.blogspot.com/2007/11/shaolin-day-4.html
Monk for a Week. Wednesday, November 14, 2007. Shaolin - Day 4. Ah, the clandestine life of a monk. .I wasn't going anywhere with that. I just like to use big words with simple meanings. Makes me feel smart. Ok, that's it for today, but a parting word of advice: Never order vermicelli noodles in China. I don't know what they gave me but it was neither noodles nor was it edible. Looked like pressure treated mucus and had the consitancy of a waterlogged baseball glove. Goodnight. Posted by Sky Crew.

Monk for a Week. Tuesday, November 20, 2007. Posted by Sky Crew. Monday, November 19, 2007. And we thought we had gotten too smart to be duped into shelling out cash for stuff we didn't want! Well, obviously having no choice we agreed to buy something off the old billygoats so that they'd lead us back to the wall. Two lucky people back in the States will be getting Great Wall picture books as heartfelt presents from us. If not check back because I'm bound to get it eventually. Posted by Sky Crew. Now we'...

Monk for a Week: Shaolin - 6th Night
http://ezra-china.blogspot.com/2007/11/shaolin-6th-night.html
Monk for a Week. Friday, November 16, 2007. Shaolin - 6th Night. Tomorrow we're going up the mountain in the gondola (my little mishap managed to get us out of running up there, silver lining don'cha know) and then having lunch with the monks in the temple where Jay has told us we're not to speak. Probably a wise move on his part. Lots of pics tomorrow. Posted by Sky Crew. You MIGHT be able to kick my ass now but you'll never block my left handed hook shot. November 16, 2007 at 2:18 PM. Shaolin - Day 4.
