September was all about TEAM HANK! We were so happy to be able to provide Wave Runners for a fundraiser. I mean. look at that happiness! We were also happy to be able to participate in this year's Walk to Cure Type 1 Diabetes at the Riverwoods. Unfortunately, the stupid weather decided to stir things up a bit, and was super soggy and gross early on. Luckily, during the actual walk. it let up. and was actually really pleasant. We weren't about to let rain slow us down anyway. These two deserve a real medal.

Sledding with the Pre-Schoolers! January brought quite the date for Jack and I. Bear Hollow had their sledding field trip, and while I was a bit skeptical about 60 pre-schoolers on a mountain with sleds, I threw on some thermals and we were off! We didn't have many plans for New Year's, so last minute we decided to take a trip with Tana and her family up to the cabin for the night. I threw a bunch of terrible wonderful food together, got our warm clothes ready, and we were off! Not only is the cabin constantly improving and getting even nicer every time I go up there, it's not half bad when you're greeted by surroundings that look like this. Let's just preface this post by saying Easter left me EXHAUSTED, and more tired than I've been in.my life! I love Easter, and this year was fantastic.with wonderful weather and lots of family time. We started things off Friday, coloring eggs with the boys. I figured 5 dozed should suffice. They had a blast until about 3 dozen in, and then they were off with their light sabers. We spent some time up in Alpine that night, with the Warnick's and Brandon's families in town. Saturday morning, we were back it!

Girls Weekend in PC and the Boys Night at the Cabin. My mom, sisters, and I found a little time in a crazy summer towards the end of July to get away sans husbands and kids and head to Park City for the night. It was short, but equally sweet. So nice to be able to go and hang out with my 3 favorite friends. So effortless, so much laughter. endless inappropriateness. I'm a lucky lass. I took the whole thing very seriously. I luv my mama. These lovely ladies are more than a girl could ever ever ask for.

We hit up Hogle Zoo with the gang over Spring Break, and I'm secretly hoping that I'm good on zoo visits for at least a couple of years. The boys had fun.I guess that's all that matters. Tucker loved running away from me, and getting into trouble with Sam. Jack's favorite features of the zoo were the elephant BONES (of course),. And the tarantula (that was dead in a case). Tucker the 3 Year Old. And so, a little post dedicated to my second born. as he has just reached the ever crazy, ever unpredictable age of THREE. Oh, my Tuck man. He packs a tight punch this one. He's hot or he's cold, but either way. he does it all the way! This little turkey is as smart as they come. Nothing gets passed Tucker, especially anything with SUGAR in it! Father's Day now comes right smack in the middle of craziness with Wave Runners, and although Brett spent the days and morning leading up to Father's Day working his little hiney off, we were still able to take a little time and celebrate the holiday. I really wish we could have done more, because Brett truly deserves the recognition. He is a better dad than I could have ever hoped. He brings fun and adventure into every situation, and provides our boys with such a fantastic example in everything he does.

I just felt like this should be remembered. So, one night recently. to humor Jack, we all got in our Star Wars duds and acted out Darth Vader's life from Annakin to the dark side. Grandma Jackie bought these Spiderman duds for the boys. And, Brett had a nice little photo shoot with Darth and Yoda one night.
