Whitney and Thomas Doonbeg, Ireland. We recognise that many of you will be travelling from all over the world to come to our wedding, and we cannot wait to celebrate with you. The best way to get to Doonbeg is to fly into Shannon Airport (SNN) which is a 1 hour drive away from the Lodge. Alternatively Dublin Airport (DUB) is a 3 hour drive away. Doonbeg Golf Club – This is one of the most beautiful links courses in Ireland – The hotel can help with tee times. Lahinch Golf Club – Old Course, Founded 1892 (30 minute drive) – Often known as the St Andrews of Ireland (links course). Adare Golf Club (75 minute drive) – Host of Irish Open (parkland course). The Burren – A beautiful region of scenic beauty close to the Lodge.
