Ride for Hunger History. In 2003 The Early Treatment Centre Manager Al Newman, held the 1st CBI Health Canada Wide Food Drive. Over the years the food drive included raffles and bake sales. Al Newman's love for riding his Harley and passion to help families in need evolved into creating the Ride For Hunger. In 2009 Al Newman partnered with Gleaners Food bank, to hold the 1st Annual Ride for Hunger. Planning started immediately for the 2011 Ride For Hunger. In Rememberanceof Janice ICE McLaren.
