Back of clinic with garage. Finished ceilings in hallway. Exam room finished ceilings. Sweet 6 year old girls Hilda and Angelina.

Friday, July 13, 2012. Truck arrives from the coast. Nathan's wonderful ophthalmology nurse Gladis. She rode all night with the shipment in the truck. First piece of equipment to enter the clinic. We had to hire a crane to get the heavy pieces off the truck. Equipment packed in crates. Finally all in the clinic.

Lørdag 30. oktober 2010. Menneskeofring i Peru II. Jeg har de siste dagene prøvd å gå dypere inn i dette med menneskeofring. Noen synes kanskje det er et litt grotesk tema, i så fall kan jeg være enig i det, men jeg synes det beskriver godt hvor stor nøden er etter evangeliet. Helt grusomt, men dette skjer altså i Peru i dag. Hun jeg snakket med i dag sier at det oftest er ungdommer uten foreldre som blir ofrene, da blir det minst oppstyr. Familien Bakke i Peru. Peruansk kultur og tradisjon. Å gi stafettpinnen videre. I dag var Andreas og jeg invitert opp til Diego Thomson, skolen som kirken driver i Arequipa, for å snakke om misjon. De har jobbet med temaet en stund, og nå ville de benytte sjansen til å hilse på noen «ekte» misjonærer. Det var ca femti 15-16 åringer, og de hadde mange spørsmål og kommentarer.
