The Beguiler

Wednesday, November 23, 2005. I am Thankful for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving time is probably one of my favorite times of the year, and let me tell you why. Generally, these competitions begin around Thanksgiving and will persist until late March. For me, this is a time of new beginnings, of new battles between old rivals, of budding players coming of age. It is college basketball season. I also enjoy the food and seeing my family. Wednesday, August 24, 2005. Granted, I was only going to be taking an exam, but what if I had to ask the professor a question in the middle of it? You studied like woah and you know all the material, but you just don't understand the wording of the question, is all. It has nothing to do with the material. But the WORDING! For a fleeting instant, I thought about turning my car around to go back and brush my teeth. At least get some gum. But I didn't. Why? Posted by Jeff at 4:30 AM. View my complete profile.

Friday, February 22, 2013. The Old Farm House. This painting comes straight from my imagination. I prefer to work from memory when doing buildings, rather than from a photo. That way I can combine the character of many houses or buildings into my own unique creation. Size: 48 X 72 (inches). Medium: Acrylic on Canvas. Http:/ www.timgagnon.com/store/the-old-farm-house/. GagnonStudio: The Turning Forest
http://gagnonstudio.blogspot.com/2013/02/the-turning-forest.html
Tuesday, February 26, 2013. This painting is one of my all time favorites. It is from my Misty Forest series. I used interference paints to finish this painting, which create a visual effect as you walk by the painting. It turns from green, to blue green as you move around the painting, and shimmers like light is hitting it from all angles. It's really a painting you should see in person. Size: 72 X 48. Medium: Acrylics on Stretched Canvas. Http:/ www.timgagnon.com/store/the-turning-forest/.

The Beguiler
http://thebeguiler.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 31, 2006. Bagpipes Are SO Predictable. Today I went to a Relay For Life rally, and the ceremonial lighting of the candles featured a traditionally clad bagpipe player who played "Amazing Grace" over and over until he made it around one full lap. It was a nice memorial for those who've lost their lives to cancer. Yet as he passed us by, I was distracted by his full on Scottish garb. I'm not sure of many things in this world, but one thing I am. Or maybe a chick in a dress and flip-flops?

Thursday, September 29, 2005. Perhaps my future child has fallen into a time/space continuum and is now beaming his image onto my computer. No. What am I thinking? Posted by Jeff at 4:03 PM. Monday, September 19, 2005. Dear Homemade Cowboys Pillow. Dear Homemade Cowboys Pillow,. I know you won't get this letter. This is more of a self-therapy thing for me. Perhaps I just loved my freaking pillow. And so we were a couple, sharing the deepest, darkest secrets of growing up. You put up with my greasy he...
