Wine tasting note: 1991 Penfolds Bin 128 Shiraz. 1991 Penfolds Bin 128 Shiraz. 26th Feb 1999 Australia. Even, deep, brown/red paling to a brown/pink rim. Rich, soft nose of meat, spices, forest fruits and a savoury, salty, alcoholic tang. Medium bodied and silky with rich, sour, juicy black cherry flavours and a moderate dash of oak. Wine tasting note: 1995 Wing Canyon Cabernet. 1995 Wing Canyon Cabernet. 3rd Mar 1999 GBP19 USA. Opaque garnet/red gradually fading to a very pale pink/red rim. Attractive, enticing nose - earthy and rich with hints of wet dog and a touch of stalkiness. Full bodied with tangy redcurrant fruit, a touch of sulphur, and lovely vegetal/tobacco undertones. Good alcohol and extract and firm tannins. Needs 3 to 4 years to break out - very good. Wine Tasting: U.S. of A. 1995 and 1996.

Wine tasting note: 2002 Terre di Sillabo Niffo Toscana IGT. 2002 Terre di Sillabo Niffo Toscana IGT. 31st May 2003 Colline Lucchesi and Montecarlo. Almost opaque purple, with some paling at the rim. Strange, muted nose, slightly raw with some piss/hay and a submerged hint of stewed plums. Medium to full bodied with lovely pure berry fruit and creamy, vanilla touches. Good balance, well integrated andlong with faint traces of nutty oak and a pleasant tang. Very good - a surprise after the nose.
