I was ecstatic to get away from a winter week in St. Louis- trading in my Patagonia coat for my bikini! Check out that cute group of kids! Rush and Jude and their monster trucks and floaties. What a duo! Winnie and Eric learning some ballet positions. Rush's hair was amazing all week- that beach air took it to new levels. My sweet little boy.

The world is counting on you. Wednesday, July 13, 2011. A couple of weeks ago, I spent the week at my parent's house. My nephew was having a rough morning while I was watching him, so to cheer him up, we looked through this cookbook magazine my mom had that featured silly kids foods. This is right up his alley! First up, a scooter appetizer made with pretzel rods and sticks, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, cream cheese, and cheese. Then, fruit salad. I think this is supposed to be an animated car?

But give him a couch (or a swimming pool for that matter), and the kid is fearless. I didn't do him justice with this shot, though he gave me many opportunities! Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Then Cary took Rush to the Magic House, where they got to enjoy a rare day by themselves. Rush busted out his second costume: the masked ambiguous super hero!
