Friday, July 31, 2015. Apples, Apples, and Applesauce. Daniel woke up on day two and said "I like making applesauce. It is fun.". One great investment for making applesauce is a Victory Food Mill. Which you dump in the quarters boiled apples and just turn the crank. The seeds and pulp go out one side and the applesauce comes out the other. Super simple. No coring, peeling of the apples beforehand. Daniel eating some of the product. Daniel turning the crank on the applesauce mill. Loving Life On the Farm.

We know most of the lifeguards now by name and they are so nice and have fun with the kids. Monday, August 3, 2015. Family Adventure: Kayak Point. One of our favorite places to go in the summer is Kayak Point. This park is directly on Puget Sound and although it is highly popular, rarely feels cramped. There is a lot of diversity of activities like crabbing, fishing, playground, swimming, digging in the sand, fields for Frisbee and kites, fire pits, and picnic tables/shelters. It also has a dock and real bathrooms. The day was hot and the water was refreshing. Looking at Fish through the cracks.

Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Daniel was in need of a new bike, so today we visited our local Play It Again Sports store to see what they had. I was looking specifically for a 24” Diamondback, as they had good reviews and I wanted a bike he could grow into. Thankfully there was that exact bike there (they had about 10 bikes total, so YAY!
