PTA is the primary volunteer organization that supports all students, parents and staff at Woodstock Elementary in Portland, Oregon. In this time of budget shortfalls, PTA is critical to promoting and sustaining parent involvement, funding, and organizing school-wide events. Do you have a child starting Kindergarten at Woodstock Elementary this Fall? If so, join the Woodstock PTA and Shu Ren at Woodstock Park (next to the school) near the playground for the annual Ice Cream Social. This is a great way to meet incoming kindergartners and parents. Project Community Care will be 9 am to noon Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Woodstock Elementary School. Woodstock’s Project Community Care activities involve landscaping, such as pulling weeds and spreading bark dust. The District will provide bottled water, fruit, and t-shirts. Meetings - Woodstock PTA

Meetings are generally the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m in the school cafeteria. See our calendar for specific dates and times. You do not need to be a member to attend. Meetings are a great place to meet new friends and reconnect with familiar faces! Childcare will be provided (for a donation of $1 per child). See you there! Our board meetings are usually held a week or two prior to general meetings. Email our PTA president. Any items you would like to see the board discuss.

Scrip - Woodstock PTA

Scrip are basically gift cards that are sold to Woodstock PTA at a discounted rate. When you buy Scrip, a percentage is donated to Woodstock PTA. Last year, scrip proceeds contributed $1900 to the PTA general fund for teacher and classroom activities. This is money that Woodstock PTA receives at NO cost to parents.
