We are located at 62 Ormond St in the middle of Woodville. Turn right in the middle of the town coming from Wairarapa or Manawatu, and turn left into Ormond St if coming from the Hawke’s Bay. A photo of the museum when it was the town’s newspaper reading room, built in 1887. We are open on Sundays between 2pm and 4pm for visits and research. We can open the museum at other times for groups or individuals by arrangement. Admission charges are $5 per adult. Children under 13 may enter for free.

We have more than 50 cameras as well as photographic processing equipment owned by the town's photographer, Sam P Skinner. Many of the cameras date from the early 1900s, for example, a No 1 Autographic Junior, 1914; No 3 Autographic Model C 1915. We also have a collection of stereoscopes, light meters, and film boxes.
