Colours of the World. On: February 4, 2009. California, the sunshine state. Yep the sun shone last time I was there, it made a refreshing change from the dismal weather we’ve been having in England recently. I like this photo I took of some trees under that blue Californian sky. Perhaps not the golden sands and emerald waters that automatically might spring to mind when you think about California, but it was more the picture that the locals might see in the everyday lives around and about the state.

So imagine my horror earlier today when some friends posted online that their work to transform a piano into a desk was well under way! O I was horrified and literally just shouted noooooooo, sacrilege! I told them that they couldn’t kill a piano. They replied it was beyond hope and they were giving it a new purpose.
