YarnBomber | Detonating massive, colorful, collaborative yarnbombs in the mountains
Detonating massive, colorful, collaborative yarnbombs in the mountains. I’m an avid hiker, logging more than 1,000 miles a year in the mountains of Santa Barbara. The sense of community that has developed among all of us, is what keeps me coming back for more. It’s that connection with my collaborators, the volunteers who surprise me by showin...Follow ...

Yarn Bomb Taos | Help us coat the town in yarn!
Help us coat the town in yarn! Our yarn bombs around Taos look great! Here’s some pics:. The Plaza benches look great covered in tags! Several tourists commented that they liked the yarn covered handrails. I was so relieved that the tags fit. I obsessively measured and remeasured everything. I am so grateful to all the volunteers I had for this project. I couldn’t have done it without them! My friend Diane made the yarn lizards. They’re so cute. Merce made this cool tag. I love this one a lot. Was there ...

Yarn, Books & Roses | life with a chronic disease and a really big yarn stash
Yarn, Books and Roses. Life with a chronic disease and a really big yarn stash. FO: August Socks are done! This is my favorite part of summer. The cats and I have been outside too for knitting and bug chasing. I finished my August socks. Look at how great the Seafoam Stitch shows off the yarn! I decided to stop th...

My next project is going to be this vest sweater designed by Jo Sharp in Silkroad DK Tweed. I hope to cast on this week! In the Phoenix...
