Year 2 St Chad's. Monday, 4 July 2016. We have been learning about Russia as part European Week. We explored the work of Russian composer Tchaikovsky and enjoyed watching the Russian Ballet. We sampled Russian food and designed our own version of St Basil's Catherdral. We painted Faberge eggs and made our own Russian dolls. We are now experts in Russian geography and culture! Year 2 St Chad's. Thursday, 3 March 2016. We have had a wonderful day today. We all dressed up as characters from our favourite books and have enjoyed exploring different characters through drama. We were really lucky to have had a visit from our local PCSO who read us 'The return of the Jabberwock'. I think he was more scared of us than we were of him! Thursday, 4 June 2015. Wednesday, 13 May 2015. Our week so far. Friday, 27 March 2015. We have had a fun-filled day for our lent fundraising! We spent the morning taking it turns to lay our coins out in the library over our Westminster Catholic Children's Society sign. I. T was astonishing to see how much money the children have raised! We then spent the afternoon out on the field visiting the stalls and enjoying the activities set up by KS2. We particularly liked the face-painting and hair spraying!
