As we draw closer to the delivery date, we were very pleased that a recent visit to the doctor showed the 2 boys progressing well in terms of their growth. They looked like the twin fishes Pisces on the ultrasound scan :). The wife's health also seems to be doing well too - no hypertension or diabetes. Posted by nyxx88 at 12:05 AM. Sunday, July 10, 2005. We just shifted to a new place nearer to town and also with a much needed extra room. It was pret...

My 4 year old daughter came back from childcare and announced that 3 boys in her school wanted to marry her! This is not fair! I should have a good 20 years more to go before I have to deal with this! Well, she seemed pretty pleased with herself when she broke the news to me. This cannot be happening *groan*. Forgot to mention something we learned about identifying whether the twins were fraternal (2 fetuses formed by the fertilization of 2 separate eggs) or identical (2 fetuses formed through the splitting of 1 fertilized egg). Btw, a fertilized egg in the early stages is called a zygote. If they were fraternal twins, each of them would be in their own egg sac. Stay tuned for my next post! Posted by nyxx88 at 11:34 PM. Duh...: August 2005
http://nyxx88.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Just visited the gynae again yesterday. The twins are still doing well and so is the wife - no hypertension, no diabetes. However she is getting more breathless and the boys are getting more restless - you should see them move! You can literally see movements across her stretched belly (remember the scene from Aliens? When the boys are awake. It is also getting more painful for her as they grow bigger. O Time to get meself a good book to keep me company in the hospital :).

Stopping Time: September 2006
http://stoppingtime.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
As someone said before. "Stopping time, at the push of a button". Saturday, September 30, 2006. Western Australia in September 2006. Some shots I took when I went on a trip Down Under :). All of them were taken using a Nikon D70, along with the Nikon 18-200mm VR lens. I am really growing to like this lens for its wonderful convenience. Some of the shots were taken with a Nikon circular polarizer mounted on the lens. Posted by nyxx88 at 12:38 AM. One of Malcom's 3 Galleries. greedy Malcom :P.

As someone said before. "Stopping time, at the push of a button". Sunday, December 10, 2006. Macros Taken with 105mm Micro Nikkor. Was testing this borrowed lens from a friend of mine. It is amazingly sharp at the point of focus! However, the challenge lies in controlling the Depth of Focus (DOF). I have an effective DOF of just 1 or 2 mm. Makes me appreciate macro photography even more. Oh yes, not to mention testing my patience in the process too :P. Posted by nyxx88 at 12:51 AM. To Buy Or Not To Buy.

The range should come in handy for travel or a walk-about lens. Hope to find time to post some pictures :(. Posted by nyxx88 at 11:42 PM. One of Malcom's 3 Galleries. greedy Malcom :P. As someone said before. "Stopping time, at the push of a button". Wednesday, February 01, 2006. New Nikon EN-EL3e Batteries. For those of you who are not aware, Nikon is recalling their EN-EL3 batteries with specific batch numbers (see link for more details http:/ nikon.com.sg/pagearticle.php? And replacing them with the newer, improved EN-EL3e that comes with the D70s. In the end, I changed 2 old EN-EL3 for 2 new EN-EL3e batteries! Posted by nyxx88 at 11:38 PM.
