The Missing Piece of the Puzzle…. に and broken Japanese. I forgot my に today during class short test. I have not been practising my hiragana taking for granted that I will remember and I have not been practising katakana as well. Definitely not getting lazy but due to the amount of lessons that I need to study and besides that learning how to speak casually from watching movie as well. The Missing Piece of the Puzzle…. I walk the earth with you. なんようび Days of the week. I am actually very impressed with 日本人 naming their days of the week after elements starting from Sun, Moon, Fire, Water, Wood, Gold and Earth (Soil). So it goes like 日、月、火、水、木、金 and 土、which is written as にち、げつ、か、すい、もく、きん と ど in ひらがな and pronounce as Nichi, Getsu, Ka, Sui, Moku, Kin, Do.
