http://loveasunnyday.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
I love a sunny day. Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Idiot box no more. We have no TV now. We got rid of it more than a week ago for the sake of our middle child who was seriously addicted to it, and unable to keep himself from living in Wiggle-Thomas-ABCKids-land. I am surprised at how well I personally am doing without it. The house feels a lot calmer in general, at night and during the day. Saturday, January 24, 2009. This is how I feel about temperatures over 30C. Spend more time talking to my husband.

the babies stole my brain: The World is (Probably) not going to end today
http://babiesstolemybrain.blogspot.com/2011/05/world-is-probably-not-going-to-end.html
The babies stole my brain. Motherhood, senility, life, and jesus. Saturday, May 21, 2011. The World is (Probably) not going to end today. The world is not permanent, as much as we would like it to be. But we should be wary of people who claim that a particular day (like May 21st) is The Day. Jesus knew there were people who wanted to know a Definite Day, so he said this:. Watch out; don't be fooled. Many men, claiming to speak for me, will come and say, I am he! And, The time has come! Quote of the year.

I love a sunny day: July 2008
http://loveasunnyday.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
I love a sunny day. Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Yes, is the view down the road to the lake near our place. Taken in Autumn. Isn't it gorgeous? We got out some candles and wine glasses for our wedding anniversary earlier this month and the children loved it! They stayed at the table longer and we really had a fun mealtime. We've pulled them out a few more times since. It's a great incentive for the reluctant middle child to come to dinner and actually eat and we all have fun blowing them out afterwards. I thi...

The babies stole my brain. Motherhood, senility, life, and jesus. Sunday, June 21, 2009. In the midst of the avalanche of parenting theories, how-to manuals, educational helps and self-help books, there is something more important to remember. As I look back at my grandmothers' lives, and the lives of my grandfathers, one thing remains with me - an example I want to pass on (though I fail too often at this, in the business of life). Their example can also be seen in John Piper's tribute to his father.

I love a sunny day: Patersons on the move
http://loveasunnyday.blogspot.com/2009/04/patersons-on-move.html
I love a sunny day. Friday, April 03, 2009. Patersons on the move. Finally I am free to blog again without self-censorship. Tomorrow we will officially announce our move to beautiful Kangaroo Valley, which is south-east of here, about a 30 minute drive. My husband will be the assistant minister of Berry/Kangaroo Valley parish, but effectively the minister of KV church. Apparently Kangaroo Valley is 24 in the list of the 100 best spots to live in New South Wales. Lucky us, hey? How I LOVE packing.
