I was also interested in everyday people. Do they think about the sacred or supernatural outside of their religious institutions? If they’re atheists do they think about such things at all? I created the spaces from June through August in neighborhoods throughout Chicago’s north and south sides.The spaces were created in English, Polish, Spanish, Greek, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese, depending on the ethnicity of the neighborhood in which they were placed.
