Sunday, 25 February 2007. Who are the main characters in the novel? Do you like them? Why or why not? What is special about them? What do they reveal about the universal human experience? I sort of disagree with Piggy and Jack only being the main character. I think, if you want only two characters, is Ralph and Jack. Ralph, even though like you said doesn't really have thoughts, he is the leader and he is the one who survives. Piggy dies on the way, so he gets omitted. 26 February 2007 at 03:55.

Saturday, January 26, 2008. Without Warning by Sappho. Swoops on an oak. Love shakes my heart. Sappho, the author used the metaphor of wind and oak to represent his love and himself. I put comment on Hyunjun's. I wonder why the author chose the "oak" to be attacked by the whirlwind. I think the poem is short and strong.
