It was the Bethany Falls trail, but we will probably call it the woodpecker trail because of all the woodpeckers we saw on it this time. We saw three different kinds. Thursday, August 22, 2013. Powell Gardens and Lego Sculptures. These sculptures are huge and fun to look at. We really enjoyed our walk here. Dad is supervising Mary at work. Fun in a treehouse. Gorgeous waterlilies at this time of year. Such beautiful colors too. Mary's favorite is this sculpture of the goldfinches. We found pretty butterflies. I found a hummingbird moth. I think this with the fox and rabbit is Elizabeth's favorite. I chased this zebra swallowtail around and finally got some pictures.

There are LCD screens showing a live view of the penguins from up above. One area for the Humbolt penguins is outside. There is a coral aquarium with several different colorful fish. We went to the zoo last saturday and spent 5 hours there, we got to go for free because it was teachers appreciation day , we got to ride the tram, train and carosel too, and the polor bear was so neat to see and funny it did the same thing over and over again , we got really good pictures of the animals they all to be out of hiding and awake.
