GROUP 17: Music Video 2007/8. Friday, 12 October 2007. We have now finished are rough cut and are quite happy with out video so far. We have still got a lot to put in and still quite a lot of song to fill. Things we will be trying to achieve over the next few weeks. We will try to complete the whole song as there is only a part of the song in our rough cut. GROUP 17: Music Video 2007/8. Monday, 15 October 2007. Good angles and camera work. :). Impressive shot through the center of the buoyancy aid (Red ring). Good choice of location. Very sexy singer- 'haha- we love Pryor.'. Nice opening - blend from seagulls and waves to the sounds of instruments. This was the overview of our positive feedback comments. Camera Work - The use of the camera works well with the video because of the way in which the focus of the video, being the band and the lighting is presented. The shots are mainly Mid-shots and a couple of close-ups but the angle that is used is mainly a low angle looking upwards at the band. We have decided to shoot some more footage and also to put in some timelapse during the long walking bits to make it less boring.
