Monday, May 10, 2010. God has smiled on me! Each night we'd wake up two to three times because of neighbor activity. Slowly but surely all this wore us down. I found myself looking for excuses to stay at work longer and longer, just so I wouldn't have to go home. My heart was crying each night "God please give us a new home! Sunday, December 27, 2009. As most of you know I experienced my very first Christmas in the Netherlands since I was 12. And quite the experience it was! We had a snowy white Christmas for the first time since 1981! It didn't get me ecstatic since I didn't know any better, but Tim and the rest of Holland was thrilled! Friday, August 15, 2008. Girl on the move. Well time never lets anything go. this week has been one of boxing, cleaning, fixing and removing my floor. I have seen this coming for so long and still it sprung on me when I wasn't expecting it yet. When I told Marieke I wanted to move to Delft she was quick to tell me that that wasn't gonna happen any time soon. I know that was wishful thinking. and now it's time to go. I'll miss them. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. The Sound of Silence. The unthinkable happend. I got a cold and it reached my vocalcords yesterday. In the afternoon the kids laughed as we all heared my voice go from husky to worse. But by 6pm my voice was so far gone it wasn't funny anymore. Today I had to call in sick and it'll probably be more than a few days. I am so bored and it's so frustrating to know that I can't work while they really need me. Saturday, November 21, 2009. About reportcards and parent-teacher conferences. Ah weekend. So very very welcome this week. It's been a week of long days at work and loud kids. Sinterklaas has arrived in the Netherlands and drives the little ones crazy with excitement. A very fun month this is.
