Friday, December 17, 2010. He sure was a good friend to us when we moved here 17 years ago, his lady and the three girls used to come down on friday. Nights, and play euchre. With us. Well. The girls watched movies. The twins were so very sickly back then .taking them outside in the cold wind was a sure trip to the hospital. Saturday, April 10, 2010. Oops, i missed friday. I didn't do much yesterday except call mumsy, go to physical therapy, hurt and do laundry. Hubs is working nights, sons are working tonight too. hubs calls me to say a friend is having a poker and beer night and I should go. I said yeah sure if you don't mind. he said go . have fun. Monday, May 31, 2010. I'm glad that we're having nice weather, and I'm not even going to begin to complain about having to water loopyacres( i want the lawn to look nice next year for the twins graduation). Today sees us getting the kids off to marching band, they will be playing in the local parade. Then it's off to the local lions club for the town BBQ. And before all that . Now, she had company twice last week, and never once asked for help with the jug or told one of her 3 children that she couldn't get it off. ( I talk to her every morning at least) . So simple and utterly divine! Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Bad News and Good News. I learned that my high school choir director passed away this morning. I'm not sure why it bothers me so much, but it does. By all I've learned, TK enjoyed a happy life with a loving family and a thirty-plus-year career doing exactly what he loved to do. My sister would have turned 50 this month. Wow. Next month marks our 20th anniversary in this house. I'll join day work this summer. Hooray for normalcy! Which Way to Go?
