Musings, graces and fate. Just some of my musings on life, the faces of the graces and the fickle finger of the fates. Tuesday, January 23, 2007. A courtesy of a reply is requested. There is this aura that what I do in this place and it is called "job" and apparently in some people's eyes it is an "important job" yet the idea of professional courtesy to respond to an email is a foreign concept. When I don't get answers from said parties I consider a) they are out sick/vacation/mental institution appointm...

About Shan & Mike. Contact Shan & Mike. One One = Two(gether). Laquo; Wedding Traditions Explained: bridal veil. November 5, 2009 by Shannon. The recent vote in Maine reminds me how far we have to go in marriage equality. I don’t get it, I really don’t. Do you have any suggestions? Give us your ideas. Please! Pleas...

While it is true that we all must stretch a bit to fit into a job advertisement, if a department is advertising for, oh, a Shakespeare scholar, say, and your dissertation is on Kathy Acker, chances are very good that you have wasted your time in sending us your stuff, even if you did teach a Shakespeare class once. Perhaps when I call you about my parent’s retirement account to notify you of their death, the song on the hold music should not be the following:. 8220;You ain’t nothing but a reindeer” to the tune of “You ain’t nothing but a hounddog”.
