Wednesday, May 27, 2009. It took me a long time to truly grasp typography. I only really began to understand it's importance late into my studies. However, when I did, a whole new world opened before me. I love anything type. Instead, as a designer, you should be looking at type as image. It has shape, form, line, flow, contour, colour, etc.etc. It took me a long time to see how type formed a part of an image instead of being an added extra to an image.
