Just returned from camping with a big group of friends and acquaintances and a WHOLE lot of unschooled kids. It was great, so relaxing and at the same time revitalising. Wednesday, 21 February 2007. We were without a phone line and therefore no dial-up internet for a couple of months which I had imagined would be an upleasant experience. I was wrong! I really enjoyed the time it gave me, yes mainly me, by freeing me up from checking for emails and getting and receiving long phone calls. It also felt slightly holidayish, that feeling you used to get when you went away before mobile phones were an essential part of our lives and you couldn't be contacted easily.

Friday, 20 July 2007. Brrrrr, it's been so cold here at night this week. Two mornings we've woken up with solid ice on our backyard ponds and some of my large leafed plants are badly frost-bitten. Very sad, they have survived the drought so far and now the frost has drilled them! We stayed (of course - we always DO) for a few drinks and then had a huge curry meal that I had prepared during a quick visit back home, to celebrate Eric's 20th birthday. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Tuesday, 17 April 2007. Horse Tracks, Pony Club Friends. Once upon a time there was a girl and her name was Jane. She loved horses so her Mum took her to a pony club. She loved it! It was great to her, so that is how her father found out and he bought her a horse and she screamed! But then she said ' but how am I going to ride it?
