Copa America Venezuela 2007. Because ESPN doesn’t care about football. The Great Argentinian Failure. Posted July 2, 2007. That’s how long Buenos Aires has been without a trophy of any importance in their sport. On the fourth of July 1993 Gabriel Batistuta raised the Copa America trophy in celebration, but in fact bringing on a sequence of successive failures for Argentina. Remember their disaster in Koreak-Japan 2002? The greatness of Argentinian football ended with Maradona. Since then its been tea...

Argentina = Losers | Copa America Venezuela 2007

Copa America Venezuela 2007. Because ESPN doesn’t care about football. Posted July 15, 2007. Argentina are losers. Not much else I can say. You have the best team to enter a Copa America in years and you again come up short. You enter every tournament as one of the favorites and never win. You haven’t won in 14 years. And that drought will now be extended to at least 17 years – and that assumes they win the next World Cup! Here is the Diario Ole corrected for accuracy. 19 comments so far. On July 15, 2007.

Friday, May 26, 2006. A Tired Act.). The first began with now lottery bound Marcus Williams,. Or "Touched By an Angel" in the near future. Then we Have Mr. Rudy Gay and Mr. Josh Boone, both of whom were sure fire bets to be selected in the lottery and, in Rudy Gay's case, he was considered to be a lock for the #1 pick in the 2006 NBA draft. So what happened? Why is Rudy Gay now considered to be the 6th or 7th overall pick in the upcoming draft? Why is he bored with the competition? Probably not. He d...

It's going to be an update on Julio's 2006 season thus far. Let's look at some stats to begin:. 4-for-20 (.200) with one home run and four RBIs. 4-for-16 (.250) with one home run and four RBIs. Monday, April 24, 2006. Let's start with the easiest of them all. Rookie of the year:. The award obviously goes to CP3, Chris Paul. This award, to me, also seems quite easy. As a guy who basically had the best seats to the worst show on earth last year, Boris Diaw. Was lost in Atlanta. He was sent over to Phoenix as a "throw in player" in the Joe Johnson trade. Insert another Billy Knight jab here. Mike James and Gerald Wallace can also be considered, but give Boris his accessoires. Of the Memphis Grizzl...

NBA's favorite big man with seven names, Dikembe Mutombo (Mpolondo Mukamba Jean Jacque Wamutombo), announced that he would donate $15 million dollars. To build a 300-bed hospital in his home country of Congo. Is it possible that Dikembe, who's earned over $110 million. In his career, might be having some. Is it really that hard to realize when your time to hang up the old size twenty-two's has come? So, Dikembe, we love you and all, but I think you may...

Monday, June 19, 2006. That the Italian Soccer. Team does not look like this:. No, they look like this:. Sorry guys. My mistake. That the Hartford Whalers. Are the best team in the NHL. That hockey looks much faster when you are lying in bed and have just spent the last 7 and a half hours watching the World Cup. Is more than ready to win a championship. It's just that it's not going to happen this year. Is "1c" in the NBA right now. Right behind LBJ (at 1a) and Kobe (at 1b), and gaining fast. OR wouldn't...
