Megan Corkhill: January 2009
http://megancorkhill.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, 22 January 2009. Once I had laid all my work out in front of me, I found collage popped up a few times across a few disciplines of design, such as packaging and illustration. These collages were scanned in and worked with on screen. As this was the most common way of working for me, I chose to design my identity based on this. All in all I like to think I have covered every base and no one has any trouble navigating around my site. I was then able to begin planning and organising measurements&#...

FdA Visual Communication: SBC2 - Online Portfolio - Evaluation
http://robhouliston.blogspot.com/2009/01/screenbased-communication-2_25.html
Sunday, 25 January 2009. SBC2 - Online Portfolio - Evaluation. Communication required me to show my understanding of. And branding. I needed to come up with a branding identity for myself " Robert. The reason i deiceded to use CYMK and Greyscale is becuase most of my work is very simple and often uses dark greys and blacks and occasionaly alot of blank space, I thought by using this colours and the layout that i went with it would contrast the work that i have to show in my porfolio. I am going to be.

FdA Visual Communication: Hope - Live Brief
http://robhouliston.blogspot.com/2009/03/hope-live-brief.html
Saturday, 28 February 2009. Hope - Live Brief. We took a really friendly approach for this work. My Father the head of the design team at saffron found it particularly hard to get started on this brief because it was so unlike what he is use to doing. He is very familiar with doing boring financial reports and boring website, this was a opportunity for me and him to work on something a little more fun. Want to know more? Megan Corkhill: December 2008
http://megancorkhill.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Friday, 12 December 2008. WEBSITE STUFF / INTERIM CRITIQUE. The image clearly represents me and how I look. It also relates to past illustration I have done. However I don't want to be seen as entirely an illustrator. I like to think I have skills in a wide media and I want this to be reflected through my website. People liked the name PegLegs although there were doubts from Neil, and a point was made as to whether or not I would like this name and logo to represent me in 15 years time? I found this pres...

Thursday, 27 November 2008. On the 27th October 2008 at 2:30pm I attended a lecture by Wayne Hemingway. Who together with his wife created the world famous Red or Dead. The talk was very informative and he gave me a good insight into what a designer really should be like. I am going to do a bit of research into TRASHION. 160;as they portray the design world in it's best form nowadays. To understand the characteristics of contemporary web-based culture and user-centered design. To develop analytical skill...
