Kyle & Kylie: Vegas Baby
http://kyleandkylie.blogspot.com/2010/01/vegas-baby.html
Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Kyle and I had the chance to get away for a little bit at the end of January.he had a test in Las Vegas, and after the busy holidays (I had been working a TON of overtime), we thought it would be fun to take a little trip together. Even though he would be working, I could sleep in, walk around, and pay a visit to some family in the area. We stayed at Mandalay Bay, and had a great time! We ate at this amazing Chinese restaurant the first night, where the food was delicious!

Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Maui Trip: Day 2. On the second day of our trip (our first full day in Maui) we decided to be crazy and get up super early to do to the sunrise tour of Haleakala, Maui's dormant volcano. We figured, "Hey why not, we'll be leaving at 2:30 Maui time, which is really like 5:30 California time." however we didn't go to bed until 12:00 (Maui time) so we only got a few hours' sleep. Oh well. We're on vacation, so we can take a nap later, right? As you can see, we layered on tons of...

Kyle & Kylie: Our Apartment :)
http://kyleandkylie.blogspot.com/2010/01/our-apartment.html
Wednesday, December 2, 2009. I guess I'm kind of funny sometimes when it comes to taking pictures of our apartment- I like to take pictures of how I've decorated, that way I can see how it looks from a slightly different perspective, and well, so I can remember it :) One thing is for sure, I LOVE to decorate.it's so much fun! Here is how I decorated for our first Christmas. Our Christmas wreath (our door was already green ;). We displayed our Christmas cards on our coat closet door right as you walk in.

Kyle & Kylie: New Year's 2009
http://kyleandkylie.blogspot.com/2010/02/new-years-2009.html
Friday, January 1, 2010. We were lucky enough to spend the last day of 2009 with one of our favorite friends, Amy! She was able to spend the whole weekend with us. I have been practicing my "tablescapes," so to speak, and I wanted to create something elegant and contemporary for her visit. I've been having a lot of fun mixing colors and textures, and playing with elements like flowers and candles to create something inviting and aesthetically pleasing. Here's what I came up with:. After more hanging out ...

Kyle & Kylie: Happy Halloweekend
http://kyleandkylie.blogspot.com/2011/10/happy-halloweekend.html
Friday, October 28, 2011. I was sitting here thinking how Halloween is a few days away, and how we really don't have any plans. First of all, it's on a Monday, which makes it hard to do much with our work schedules. Second of all, I sprained my foot last week at work, so I haven't been able to do much either, and I don't think we'll want to overdo it. So I started thinking about Halloween last year and how much fun we had, even though we didn't have any "real" plans either. And their dog Scout. Candy Cor...

Thursday, February 25, 2010. A Bittersweet Valentine's Day. So let's start with the SWEET stuff from this Valentine's Day.I happen to love Valentine's Day (maybe because my birthday is the day after? But it's always fun to have a special day to do something special for those you love. Mom, dad, sister, brother, friend, dog, cat. ;) You get the idea ;). And this Valentine's day was especially sweet since it was Kyle and my first. And speaking of SWEETS {! I decided to make Kyle some red velvet cupcakes.

http://kyleandkylie.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 27, 2009. On Christmas Eve, we had a nice day just relaxing at home. I made some hot apple cider with the new mini crockpot my mom and dad gave us as an early Christmas gift, along with the mulling spices.mmmmmm. One of my favorite holiday pieces in my kitchen was my red and white snowflake towels.so cute! Our first married Christmas Eve :). I made a one and a half pound ham for the two of us, with twice baked potatoes, broccoli, and cranberry sauce. Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Our Chr...

Kyle & Kylie: July 2010
http://kyleandkylie.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 27, 2010. So three weekends ago we went out on a little "hiking" adventure with our good friends Matt and Ally (and Scout! I say "hiking" because it really wasn't too far.and we wore flip flops. Does it count as hiking if you wear flip flops? Anyways, our destination was a little watering hole where Scout (and the boys) went swimming. As you can see, they wasted no time. Scout wasn't too excited to go in at first, but then he got used to it. Watch out little kids! Safe on dry land. Kyle and...
