Mothers of Invention: Don't Knock It Until You Try It
http://mothers-of-invention.blogspot.com/2008/02/dont-knock-it-until-you-try-it.html
Don't Knock It Until You Try It. I hate meatloaf. How about you? Why is meatloaf considered an American comfort food? Actually, I can't think of too many "American comfort foods" that I actually would put in my mouth. Meatloaf is at the bottom of the list. I mean, what's so comforting about a huge hunk of ground up cow with ketchup slathered all over it? Pearls and matching earrings. Hmmm.maybe I should have made something more glamorous than.meatloaf. In the end, mom's right (isn't she always? Mix thoro...

Mothers of Invention: Hello friends!
http://mothers-of-invention.blogspot.com/2011/05/it-has-been-long-month-but-i-survived.html
It has been a long month, but I survived and am back! My in-laws came in early April and we traveled with them to Wales. Have I mentioned my love of Wales? Anyway, just 2 days after returning from Wales I left with the younger 2 kids for America. My little sister got married the same day as the royal couple. Mothers of Invention: Grilled Salmon Paprika
http://mothers-of-invention.blogspot.com/2011/04/grilled-salmon-paprika.html
My new ingredient is smoked paprika. I've been hearing about it for several years but always resisted purchasing it. I finally bought some and this is the recipe I'd like to use with it. It smells divine! I can't wait to use it. I found the recipe at Tasty Kitchen. I really like finding recipes there because it seems like most people have the same sort of mindset about food that I do: make it tasty, make the recipe short, make it quick, but make sure it's tasty.
