Live Oak Shawlette Is Finished! | My Knitting Circle
https://myknittingcircle.wordpress.com/2012/02/14/live-oak-shawlette-is-finished
Live Oak Shawlette Is Finished! It’s a little foggy outside and the weather is cool but I’m enjoying the day regardless. I finished my Live Oak Shawlette. Last Friday, blocked it and wore it to church on Sunday. I love the way it feels and looks. The pattern called for sock yarn but the sock yarn I had wasn’t something I wanted to use so I went browsing through my stash and came up with the Schulana. Live Oak Shawlette being blocked. Wearing the shawlette to church. And tagged Live Oak Shawlette. Februar...

Wednesday, June 11, 2014. It is going to be a short post :-) My beautiful baby girl is sleeping and mommy wants to do the same thing! Still, I wanted to update my blog and post about a little gift I made while looking after my daughter when she was learning to be on her belly :-). It was a rather quick knit for the first baby of one of my knitter friend! I'm glad I could make it - it was sent I think two weeks after he was born! See my project page. I have about half of the Little Oak knitted. The cardig...

https://stockinette.wordpress.com/2014/01/27/boneyard-brohats
Posted by Linden Down. Asymp; 1 Comment. After seeing a boneyard shawl. Made out of malabrigo sock. That I had given my mom for Christmas, my brother requested a beanie with a similar pattern and in the same yarn. Of course I was delighted to receive a request for handknits, so I ordered the yarn and set to work! I ended up making two hats just to make sure one would fit! The yarn is malabrigo sock. For the one that was a little bit small (and will be coming back to me because it fits me! Next post →.

Creating the Day: Playing Catch Up
http://creatingtheday.blogspot.com/2012/03/playing-catch-up.html
Wise men (and women) say that we are the creators of our reality. Here's an account of my creation, though it's mostly full of yarn and animals. Monday, March 26, 2012. This past week has been busy for me. So busy in fact, that I am woefully behind in catching up on my blog reading and obviously far too busy to even write a post myself! The only thing I managed to have time for was to create an Etsy. Shop with an associated Facebook. March 26, 2012 at 6:10 AM. Woah, you do sound seriously busy!

Creating the Day: Seeing Spots...

Wise men (and women) say that we are the creators of our reality. Here's an account of my creation, though it's mostly full of yarn and animals. Sunday, March 18, 2012. It's official. I'm in duplicate stitch hell. Obviously I bit off more than I can chew with this silly giraffe. Don't get me wrong, he's cute. Some might even say crazy adorable. but the spots. Each spot is duplicate stitched on and you just don't realize how big an undertaking it is until you start it! I'm nearly finished the second sock!

Just a quick post. I'm about to be off for the holiday weekend. Sam and I are traveling down to Washington, DC for a three day weekend. Before I go, I thought I'd check in and write a quick post (you know, to assure you all that I'm still alive! I was so excited that I couldn't wait to make something else up! I hope e...

Creating the Day: January 2012
http://creatingtheday.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Wise men (and women) say that we are the creators of our reality. Here's an account of my creation, though it's mostly full of yarn and animals. Sunday, January 29, 2012. Ever since sometime around Christmas, I've been feeling a bit like I have ADHD. I'm like that dog in 'UP' only I don't get distracted by squires, instead I'm yelling "FIBER! I can't focus on any one project because I have a million projects I'd like to work on and I now have more free time to work on them. Now all we need is the snow!
