Now we have new office bearers and a Quilt giveaway already happening. 2013 sure looks like an exciting year for the IMQG. I only hope I will be able to participate in every activity. All i need now is to finish this quilt AND find a baby for it :). Blog for the Baby Quilts Blog Fodder. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Swim, Bike, Quilt!

Quixotic Crafter: March 2014

Monday, March 24, 2014. Off On A Tangent - In a Good Way. But wait.there was something else inside. Yep, it was the table quilt I began making for my daughter's basement coffee table, only to have her tell me that the colors were wrong, and that she did not like the backing, once I had sandwiched the sucker. So I guess I must have let out a heavy sigh, folded it up, and tossed it in the mending basket. That would have been in June.2010! Friday, March 21, 2014. How Did You Spend the FIrst Day of Spring?

Sunday, April 19, 2015. Show and Tell - March 2015. Welcome to March's show and tell (only a little bit late.). Donella showed off this quilt made to donate to the community - simple but effective. She also showed us these two. The smaller bassinet quilt is already on a cot at the local maternity unit and it was made with scraps from the larger one. They are snuggly plaid flannel fabrics. Carol is tall, so this is one long table runner! Interesting curves and bright solids make it a bit different. Auckla...

Friday, September 5, 2014. August 2014 Show and Tell. Welcome to Show and Tell for August. Beatrice gets most prolific quilter award for the month. This is the first one she showed us, a two coloured stunning design - can you imagine the colour possibilities for this? Here's her next one. Using up fabric swap squares from a swap she participated in about a decade ago ;-). Another scrappy quilt. I like this design too. Can you spot the whoopsie? I work there, so I know how much they brighten up the rooms.
