life actually: Contemplating life's (un)important questions here...
http://karen-lifeactually.blogspot.com/2013/10/contemplating-lifes-unimportant.html
Tuesday, October 8, 2013. Contemplating life's (un)important questions here. Today I spent at least fifteen minutes gazing at the discounted wool in Lincraft wondering whether Paton's "Classic Totem" is the same as Paton's "Totem." The former was the only wool I could find in the shop with "Totem" in its name, the latter was the wool recommended in my knitting pattern (but only as a substitute for "Fireside," of which there was none at all). I learned how to knit making tea cosies! Blogs I Like to Look At.

Hannover International Bible Church: Is sin a big deal?
http://hannoveribc.blogspot.com/2008/11/is-sin-big-deal.html
Saturday, November 29, 2008. Is sin a big deal? What do you think of these questions? Even more important is what God thinks of them. Do the two of you agree or disagree? We will discuss these topics in next. 1 Was Eve was deceived in the Garden by Satan? 2 Was Adam was deceived in the Garden? 3 Is man responsible because God holds him accountable? 4 Is breaking one commandment equivalent to breaking them all? 5 If I do something that is right in the sight of God, but I believe it to be. Wrong, is it sin?

Hannover International Bible Church: From Loser to Winner
http://hannoveribc.blogspot.com/2008/08/from-loser-to-winner.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2008. From Loser to Winner. My own bad decisions stand between me and God. What can I do when I realize that I'm living like a loser? Samson was a loser spiritually (Judges 13-16). What was that guy thinking? What was the matter with him? He didn't take God seriously. He let people manipulate him. He failed to live by his principles. He compromised. He didn't take his commitment seriously. Yet Hebrews 11:32-40 tells us that God approved of Samson because of his faith! Hannover Inter...

Hannover International Bible Church: When Men Were Men
http://hannoveribc.blogspot.com/2008/09/when-men-were-men.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2008. When Men Were Men. Were the men of the Bible 100-pound weaklings with spindly legs and pasty faces? Well, they were probably really nice and kind and gentle, but weren't they so spiritual that there was no way they could handle themselves in the real world? The Bible gives us a completely different picture. We see Samson, the muscle-man. Gideon led a daring suprise attack! What should men be like? Able to endure and persevere through difficulties. Set examples to follow.

Pondering About Life: April 2011
http://alison-ponderingaboutlife.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 29, 2011. And his heart was filled with love. Sarah asked me to read the book, 'Ragged Bear' to her this morning. It's one of my favourite stories about a toy bear who gets left behind in the rain one day, but is later rescued by another child. He is then mended and cared for. The youth group girls gave the book to me and the girls almost two years ago, along with a huge box of other goodies. They were so thoughtful - I had a good cry when they dropped around with the surprise! In Touch Dai...

Pondering About Life: A process
http://alison-ponderingaboutlife.blogspot.com/2011/12/process.html
Wednesday, December 14, 2011. A friend read this passage to me this afternoon from Romans 5:1-4, and talked about the 'process' of growth that each of us go through and how God uses our suffering to shape us into the people He wants us to be. Are we really ready for God to break our hearts? I want to be a person who God uses to reach out to others with His love, but I get in the way. Little old me, focusing on my own pain, instead of on Jesus. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). In Touch Daily Devotion.

Pondering About Life: Decisions, decisions
http://alison-ponderingaboutlife.blogspot.com/2011/11/decisions-decisions.html
Sunday, November 6, 2011. Why are there so many decisions to make in life? Especially as a Mum. There are just so many considerations. Sometimes it's a little overwhelming. Phew Sometimes life is heavy. Sometimes I wish there weren't so many decisions I had to make. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth. Psalm 57:10-11. Pondering About Life: February 2012
http://alison-ponderingaboutlife.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 21, 2012. He's always been faithful. I'm just joining the music team in our church, and learning some new songs. This was on one of our CDs and I love the words especially, decided I would love it to be my life's theme song. Hope it encourages you. He's always been faithful by Sara Groves. Morning by morning I wake up to find. The power and comfort of God's hand in mine. Season by season I watch him amazed, in. Awe of the mystery of his perfect ways. He's always been faithful to me.
