Thursday, March 3, 2016. Expectations vs. Reality. After January, 8th grade is easy". But in reality, all of 8th grade just makes me feel queezy. All of the responsibility and work that's required. It honestly just makes me feel really tired. And I think that our whole grade can agree. That it's not only me that stays up till three. Everyone thought that following the exit project, it would be better. Except now there's one thing left to do, our high school letter. All of the pep talk, it was just pretend.

Thursday, October 29, 2015. Of the three pieces looked at when our class visited MOMA, my favorite was definitely "Borrowing your Enemy's Arrows" created by artist Cai Guo-Qiang. This work (shown below) is a large wooden boat hanging from the ceiling. It has no bottom, and is clearly not usable. The chinese flag is being blown by a fan ant one end.
