http://storiesfromtheghettofabulous.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Stories from the Ghetto-Fabulous. Wednesday, December 09, 2009. Men really are from mars. Tonight, bored with the TV yet bored enough to continue to flick through channel after channel, I finally came across a program on ABC2 that definitely took my fancy. Shrink Rap, a program billed as part chat show, part psycho-dynamic interview - how could you possibly resist! Hmmmmnot many I bet? When a man and a woman come together in most scenario's, there is some type of sexual aura around. Fact. Argue a...Women...

The Scutmonkey: February 2009
http://thescutmonkey.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 08, 2009. Icarus be damned or "Back in the saddle again.". I started on the floor last week, and much to my relief, feel much more confident and happy as a cardiac nurse than a trauma nurse. In fact, despite having worked with very sick patients with complex care needs (Swanned, a dozen drips, intubated on nitric) I feel I was able to teach (if not to the patient, to the family) more in the last week than I did all year long as a fake trauma nurse. What can I say? So far, I'm slogging th...

Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Big T's Resume and Cover Letter Service. At least once in their career:. So, let's make a deal: you pretend to gi...

Stories from the Ghetto-Fabulous: January 2011
http://storiesfromtheghettofabulous.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Stories from the Ghetto-Fabulous. Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Four days on, and it appears the TV has corrected itself? Disappointed or rejoicing.not quite sure? Sunday, January 23, 2011. My TV died on Friday - well it turns on, but no signal; no channels at all that I can view? It disturbs me that I find it disturbing that I can't watch what really are quite mind numbing Sunday evening programs; all while slothing about on the couch for a lazy evening in. Wednesday, January 12, 2011. A few friends and I ...

Stories from the Ghetto-Fabulous: Men In Trees
http://storiesfromtheghettofabulous.blogspot.com/2011/02/men-in-trees.html
Stories from the Ghetto-Fabulous. Thursday, February 17, 2011. So the trees are being lopped at long last. The neighbour is furiously taking photos as the men go about their lopping business. The trees do in fact sit in the neighbour’s back yard. However they hang completely over my apartment block driveway, drop endless branches and leaves both on the driveway, and the facing balconies. When the wind picks up, or a storm rolls in, the trees are a rather intimidating force. View my complete profile.

Stories from the Ghetto-Fabulous: March 2007

Stories from the Ghetto-Fabulous. Thursday, March 08, 2007. February.a month of craziness for this intrepid traveller! February saw the end of my Sth American adventure. 6mths of backpacking around this huge and vast continent was amazing. But 6mths was enough for me. I wanted to leave on a high. It wasn't my time in Sth America that I really wanted to end, it was more the lifestyle. Living out of my backpack and in hostels was starting to take it's toll. Getting old maybe? From French cafes to the good ...

http://storiesfromtheghettofabulous.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Stories from the Ghetto-Fabulous. Monday, August 13, 2007. Sunday morning, 7.30am and 65,000 of your closest friends.hmmm, well not quite? But for a change this was not the end of my night, but the beginning of my day :). Sunny and hot, claustophobic in the crowds, heartbreak hill (which for the 3rd time doing this run nearly killed me), 14km's (and what a beautiful 14km route it is), 110minutes later and the beautiful Bondi beach to greet me.
