Our journey to becoming a family of ten. Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Last full day in Guangzhou. Today we had our appointment at the US Consulate to apply for Christian's visa to enter the United States. All went smoothly, and the visa should be issued and ready for pick-up tomorrow. Kind of anti-climactic after all these months of paperwork and waiting; but, when we land in Detroit on Thursday, Christian will be a US citizen! The heat was amazing too! Glad we didn't go when the sun was out. Here we go again!

The foster father said that he had two younger foster siblings and that he has been telling them for months that he was going to America and would invite them to come visit once he got there! When it was time to go, he hugged the foster father again,told him goodbye and grabbed Allen's hand. He seems very excited to start his new life! His bravery and resilience are amazing!
