191s18nanwang: August 2010

http://191s18nanwang.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Monday, August 30, 2010. As I was laying on my bed, I closed my eyes and started thinking. I remembered how I desired to travel all around the world and see different people. That was the dream which often appears in my mind. So, I decided to travel right now. Life is short, so I need to capture my life since I’m young and energetic. I went to this shop and picked a piece of cloth with some flowers on it. After three days, I got my new clothes. That impressed me a lot! Why I want to go back home?

Thursday, October 7, 2010. My first interview experience in class. Pictures from internet or cell phone help people to understand what you talking about. From the two interviews, I think it helps a lot when you get some background knowledge first and prepare well so that it will not be awkward when you don’t talk. So, I will search the internet to get some basic knowledge of my interviewee’s country first. It’s always important to be polite and respectful when having a conversation.

Monday, December 13, 2010. I decided to pick the country Norway, because my mother’s side of the family is full blooded Norwegian. Once I started doing some research, I became aware of how little I actually knew about the country. Evangelical Lutheran 86%, other Protestant and Roman Catholic 3%, other 1%, none and unknown 10%.
