Friday, May 11, 2012. Believe It, Or Not. Why do you believe what you believe? I strongly distrust anyone who reaches adulthood and ends up having the exact same religious beliefs as their parents. Wikipedia says there's about 38,000 Christian denominations. what are the odds your parents picked the right one? How many generations ago was it that someone actually did some real research? Which means that blind obedience must skip a generation now and then. What I'm getting at is, you can't blame the Bible...

Friday, August 12, 2016. We watched the first five or six episodes of Gotham, but it was just too dark for us. I've never been able to get into criminal-focused shows. Real life is depressing enough, and I'd rather focus on the good guys than the bad. I've tried to get into Arrow, but I just haven't. It's not as dark as Gotham, but it's still a bit too dark for me.
