1988 Topps: 635th Place - James Steels
http://1988topps.blogspot.com/2015/08/635th-place-james-steels.html
Ranking and counting down all 792 baseball cards, from worst to best, in a mostly objective manner. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. 635th Place - James Steels. James Steels" sounds like the perfect secret identity for a comic book hero. A last name of "Steals" would have been even better since he twice swiped 35 bases in a season in the minor leagues. Is a good indicator of why. I couldn't find much on Steels on the interwebs.hmm, maybe he is a super hero! Player of the year in 1984. I found a couple.

The 1962 Topps Blog. Collecting and blogging the 1962 Topps baseball set, one card at a time…. And we’re off…. February 7, 2012. Okay, first post. But better late than never, and I’ve created this blog to track my progress. It won’t be witty, and it may not even be very interesting or informative. But at least it’ll help keep me off the street and away from drugs and gangs, right? So here we go…. From → Uncategorized. 105 – Don Mossi →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Ranking and counting down all 792 baseball cards, from worst to best, in a mostly objective manner. Sunday, August 24, 2014. 665th Place - Calvin Schiraldi. My apologies to any Sox fans who just threw something at their computer screen. Rightly or wrongly, Schiraldi is a dirty word for many in New England. He was a key culprit in the 1986 World Series collapse. Despite flashes of brilliance. Early in his career, Schiraldi would retire by the age of 29. Saturday, August 23, 2014. 666th Place - Greg Booker.

The backs of both his 1962 and 1965 cards mention arm troubles, so that may explain why it all seemed to fall apart for him beginning in 1966. Ranking and counting down all 792 baseball cards, from worst to best, in a mostly objective manner. Monday, August 3, 2015. 636th Place - Robbie Wine. I replied that I was here, and she asked if I went by Robert or a nickname of that. I don't know why, but I said, "Rob." I guess now that I was in a new city and a big-time third grader, I figured it was time to go with a more mature iteration. Grandma Bonnie was kind of crazy. Robbie Wine is the son of former big leaguer Bobby Wine. I'll throw a "gratuito...

The 1962 Topps Blog. Collecting and blogging the 1962 Topps baseball set, one card at a time…. 105 – Don Mossi. February 7, 2012. Many people consider Mossi one of the ugliest men to ever play major-league baseball. I won’t be that unkind, but he definitely has to be one of the most unique-looking. He retired with a career record of 101-80, a lifetime 3.43 ERA, 50 saves, and the highest fielding percentage among pitchers (.990). February 7th, 1962:. From → Uncategorized. Larr; And we’re off…. 1993 Topps: #462 Felix Fermin
http://1993topps.blogspot.com/2015/08/462-felix-fermin.html
Celebrating the 20-year anniversary of the first set I ever collected. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Is Joe Carter safe or out? Either way, it's a great photo. It's always fun to see the cloud of dirt kick up. That's right, it took Felix Fermin 4,234 professional plate appearances to hit his first home run. The unfortunate victim was White Sox reliever Donn Pall. 1 In 1989, Fermin was the runaway American League leader in sacrifice bunts, amassing 32 for the Indians. Be still, my heart! On This Date in 1993:.

1988 Topps: 638th Place - Jose Uribe
http://1988topps.blogspot.com/2015/07/638th-place-jose-uribe.html
Ranking and counting down all 792 baseball cards, from worst to best, in a mostly objective manner. Saturday, July 25, 2015. 638th Place - Jose Uribe. Ugh Wasn't really looking forward to writing this one up. That's because Jose Uribe passed away in a tragic car accident. In his native Dominican Republic in 2006. It seems Uribe's former teammates were quite devastated. July 29, 2015 at 9:24 AM. One of my favorite infields (along with the 76 Reds and the current Giants infield). July 31, 2015 at 9:01 PM.
