July 9, 2014. Jewelry making is a great outlet for me. I have been home full time now for about 2 years. I left my job to stay home with my husband. He was injured in Iraq when the humvee he was in hit an IED. He sustained a traumatic brain injury and has progressively gotten worse. I did lots of research on the best way to start up my new adventure. I have found that blogging about the process might help others in my shoes so here is my official start…. Blog at WordPress.com. The Twenty Thirteen Theme.

Asymp; Leave a comment. I know. I know. I’ve been AWOL from craft blogging for the past few months. But just because I haven’t been blogging doesn’t mean that I haven’t been crafting. ;). Too many things to do. Too little time. The story of my life. This project was just too fun and turned out way too cute not to share, though. So here I am, after an extended hiatus, to give you: DIY Candy-Colored Mirrors. Continue reading →. Asymp; 2 Comments. Continue reading →. Asymp; 2 Comments. Asymp; Leave a comment.

Saturday, August 01, 2009. Late follow-up on Renegade Craft. Embellished knitting needles are on my holiday wishlist. Had a very awkward moment with a "shower art" display. The 7-year-old repeated some very R-rated language seen on one item — she had no idea what she was reading/saying, but everyone else around her did! I'm not a prude, but it seems worth considering not having EVERYTHING on display at an event that draws a fair number of families. Links to this post. Saturday, July 18, 2009. Unfortunate...

I sure love my little girl but when naptime comes around our dining room table gets covered and it becomes Crafty Mama-time. Apr 1, 2011. Call me crazy, go ahead, it's okay.i'll admit it :). October 11, 2012. It printed out a $2 off Huggies Little Movers Coupon as well as $10 additional extrabucks! So I went and grabbed a 20 pack of Slip Ons for $12.49 and a 21 pack of Pull-Ups Nighttime for $13.39. The were each on sale which made their price go down to $9.49 each. Then I gave them my $6 extra buck, my $2 coupon, and my $10 extra buck making the final price for 41 diapers $1.99! I saved in total $24.90 which is a final savings of 96%! This made the cost of each diaper only 4.8 cents! My tre...

Thursday, January 27, 2011. My mother passed away when I was 11 under some pretty tragic circumstances, but not before she exposed me to sewing, cooking, baking, knitting, crocheting, macrame-ing (if that is such a word), paper-folding, lampshade-making, candle-making and many other crafts. If she was alive today, I know she would be into scrapbooking and cardmaking in a big way also. Labels: boys children genes creativity creative. Monday, January 24, 2011. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
