The hunt for delicious food with a dash of adventure along the way. April 8, 2013. Alrighty, this is probably the third Thai restaurant I’ve been to within the Hamilton community. Don’t worry my dear foodies, I did not order yet another pad Thai. I have other dish favourites you know! The restaurant resembles that of a diner except with “asian” decorative accents such as bamboo curtains, furniture and wall art. It was a comfortable area to eat in to say the least. The restaurant also ...You are commentin...

The hunt for delicious food with a dash of adventure along the way. Seven Flavor BBQ Fish. April 8, 2013. In the mood for some authentic Chinese cuisine? Second, does the menu have Chinese characters for the meal titles? Lastly, do the waiters/waitresses have a language barrier (minimal English but fluent in Chinese) when communicating with you? Fits the authentic Chinese cuisine category. There are noodle options as well, so don’t fret! Spicy Fried Ribs in Wok $11.99. Ma-Po Tofu $7.99. The food was very...

The hunt for delicious food with a dash of adventure along the way. April 5, 2013. A craving that I always keep having is for pho. For those who do not know what pho is, pho is a popular Vietnamese dish consisting of broth, rice noodles, a few herbs and a variety of meat (depending on your order). Learn more about pho here. However, I guess that’s the trade-off: quality seating to even out the not-so-great quality of food. Has the new location and renovations suck them dry of their quality? By the way, o...

The hunt for delicious food with a dash of adventure along the way. April 6, 2013. Located on 94 Cannon St. W. is a quaint little bubble tea shop, Dream’s Cafe. Also known as D’s Cafe. I found this hidden gem back in 2009 when I first arrived in Hamilton and have been an avid fan since. I love the atmosphere, granted it is predominantly catered towards high school students, however this doesn’t deter me from their delicious bubble tea. It’s really delicious, I definitely did not expect myself to li...

The hunt for delicious food with a dash of adventure along the way. April 6, 2013. So I finally got around to trying out Thai Memory. And I must say that I was very impressed. Located on 25 King William St. near Jackson Square is a delightful little Thai restaurant that exudes authenticity and individuality. The restaurant was very zen, probably due to the lovely instrumental music playing and the sound of the water flowing in the water fountain. It was very serene to say the least. 1 Minute Too Far.
