Fiber Los Alamos, New Mexico. Discussion of fiber to the home/business in Los Alamos, New Mexico, for internet access. Thursday, July 31, 2008. Will a return to circuit switching happen? Ah, I still have a chance to get at least one July post into this blog. I have thought about lots of topics, but skipped actually writing any comments about them, in the past six or ten weeks. Fiber Los Alamos, New Mexico: Presidential executive order "US Ignite"
http://fiberlanm.blogspot.com/2012/06/presidential-executive-order-ignite.html
Fiber Los Alamos, New Mexico. Discussion of fiber to the home/business in Los Alamos, New Mexico, for internet access. Monday, June 18, 2012. Presidential executive order US Ignite. Here is a link to an article on the PC magazine website. That seems pessimistic about the order. The main point of the PC magazine writer is that the real problem is that the legacy of Bell Telephone (Verizon, AT&T and CenturyLink) is still a monopoly and is still stopping progress. If so, do you have a new blog post about it?

Perhaps someone might like to offer other opinions? What I do know is that it has been used successfully in other small and rural communities. November 3, 2011 at 6:45 PM. On the other h...
