Monday, July 20, 2015. 35 Things in My 35th Year. As I approach my 35th year in life, the word "intentional" has been a prevalent one for Jeremiah and I. There are lots of things in life that I'm glad that I have done, but definitely some things that I still want to do. Inspired by my SIL Stephanie, I have decided that I want to complete 35 things in my 35th year. 1 Do a mud run (this will be completed two days before my birthday, but I'm counting it! 2 Go on a silent retreat. 11 Paint a canvas. Jonah is...

Kruger Kids: April 2015

Monday, April 13, 2015. Light in the Dark. God first placed a desire for missions in my heart in 9. Our church youth group was headed up to Belcourt, ND to a Native American Indian reservation about a ½ hour from the U.S. and Canada border. Now when I say that God placed a “desire for missions on my heart,” I say that rather loosely. What I really mean is that God was working through my desire to go on a 10 day trip with a lot of my best friends and a lot of cute boys. Belcourt… a place where the c...

Thursday, June 6, 2013. Earth Shattering Calls from God. Errrr not. I wrote this awhile ago, but it was in the last MOPS newsletter and it was a good reminder to myself. Especially with summer coming up! It was an amazing weekend filled with amazing women, amazing speakers, and amazing sessions. To give you a better feel… it was… well… amazing. The “Hearts at Home” conference had wrapped up and I was filled to the brim. Side note on that… As I’m writing this, I went to go grab my notes to loo...I had re-...

That's not always a good thing? Hmmm, I'll have to think that one over. That puts a girl into prayer mode. And it's hard, when the babies are born early and God answers differently than we ask for. But ...Yeste...

Kruger Kids: January 2014

Friday, January 24, 2014. I can hear their voices in song, greeting us to their school as our bus slowly pulled into Trees of Glory on the dry, crunching gravel. Anticipation of all sorts filled my mind and heart. Will they like us? Will they want to talk with us? What will I say? How will I communicate? I have no idea what they were saying while they were singing, but I could hear them singing. 8220;Being attacked by animals at night.” What a horrible thing for a child to worry about.
