Sharing life, love and laughter. A Day in the Life… →. Things I’ve lost…. September 7, 2011. Since becoming a mom, I seem to be losing things. The first and probably most important thing I’ve lost seems to be my brain! My brain has left the building! Thankfully she is an understanding person🙂. Gone are the days when I cared about my appearance. I have lost my relationship with my hairdryer. If I am lucky, once a week I blow dry my hair just to make sure it still works! New skills are a great sign of development, but I am so over this one! The Baby Whisperer keeps telling me to put the baby in the crib awake so that he can learn to fall asleep on his own. Well, I was doing that, and I try to do that, but the darn little guy keeps playing the roll over game! And tagged rolling over.

Sharing life, love and laughter. Baby G is 3 months old and has definitely been an overachiever since day 1! He was born on May 5th, 2011 at a whopping 9 lbs, 14 oz and was 22 inches long! Some say I gave birth to a toddler! 🙂 Since that day, he has continued to grow like crazy, outgrowing his bassinet by 2 months (tall boy) and wearing 9 month clothing already! He loves practicing his new words, “a-goo and ‘hi’ ” daily and has a very keen interest in his fingers and toes. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

There were also conflicting opinions on how much longer I have to go – “you should have your hospital bag packed! 8221;, “oh, 6 weeks is lots of time, you’re not even close! And, finally sleep is getting uncomfortable. I can’t wait to be able to lie on my back again and to be able to roll over without sitting up! It will be better!
